from the Electronic Frontier and community building activities, such as a peer interview exchange
in the web-based INTEC discussion area. Our discussion areas take advantage of
Lotus DOMINO technology
for an interface that allows simple, yet powerful features, including the ability to attach and share
documents and communicate with hyperlinks. For newcomers to the web, a pointer to the standard
15 minute series
set of internet "tutorials" is also offered as a resource.
Upon completing these
activities, participants are acquainted with each other and with simple web terminology and have more confidence
in composing and posting messages to threaded discussion groups that include graphical elements.
