Bio Quest title

You have worked with the EDM model for a short time admittedly. Reflect on what you have learned so far and pose some questions to yourself and the group. Sample questions:

  • What do you want to learn by using this software?
  • How would it fit into your curriculum?

    You can write to the Field Expert for some ideas. Post your insights.

  • How much time should this take?

    TWO HOURS

    ONE hour to reflect on questions and post.

    ONE hour to comment on postings and the reflections of others.

    ASSIGNMENTS
    1. What does modeling and strategic simulations mean in the context of your curriculum, your view of pedagogy?
    2. Read and respond to postings of others exploring the curriculum.
    3. Are there other questions you want to explore?
    4. How can you deepen the conversation through reflection and comments on other postings.

    Post your comments in the DOMINO discussion area. You should read the comments of others and make two of your own. If you have made an interesting model in EDM, please post it for others to view (remember to use the .EDM extension so readers can point their browsers to EDM when it asks with which application it should open the file). Look for the Topic 3 BioQUEST thread.
