Topic Zero: The Place to StartTOPIC ZERO is the "place you start" before entering the INTEC NetCourse at TOPIC ONE. TOPIC ZERO provides a self-paced tutorial on basic 'Net concepts for newcomers and confirms understandings of more experienced users. The TOPIC ZERO materials also introduce the user to the DOMINO interface that lies at the heart of the INTEC project. It is a "self-building" web site. Participants learn to post to and view discussions as well as use such simple, yet powerful features of this tool as attachments and making hyperlinks.Upon completing the Topic Zero activities, participants should feel comfortable with simple web terminology and confident in composing and posting messages to threaded discussion groups that include graphical elements. |
